PURPOSE:To obtain a developer not causing offset trouble at the time of using a heat roll fixing system capable of high-speed fixing by cross-linking a polyolefin having carboxyl groups. CONSTITUTION:The liquid developer contains the polyolefin resin, such as a homopolymer of ethylene or propylene, copolymer of one of them and a comonomer, i.e., vinyl acetate or vinyl chloride, modified by alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid, alpha,beta-unsaturated dicarboxylic acid, or either of their anhydrides, such as acrylic acid or methacrylic acid, and a polyfunctional compound having >=2 functional groups cross-linkable with said resin, such as glycidyl, hydroxyl, or amino groups, thus permitting the obtained developer not to cause offset trouble and to be easy in high-speed fixing. |
