<p>The present invention discloses a telephonic E-mail 'answering machine' (1) for receiving, processing and storing electronic messages. The E-mail answering machine (1) includes a phone jack (4) for adapting to an existing telephone line for receiving electronic messages from the phone line. The telephonic apparatus further includes a processor (6) for responding to the electronic messages and for storing the messages in the answering machine (1). In another preferred embodiment, the telephonic E-mail answering machine (1) further includes an LCD display (8) for providing information to a user relating to a reception of the electronic messages.</p> |
