Prepn. of cola-wheat drink - by mixing and fermenting cola soft drink and yeast wheat beer feed formed with top-fermenting yeast strain

Prepn. of a cola-wheat prod. involves (a) preparing a cola soft drink contg. w.r.t. 1000 l. of water, 3.3-3.7 kg. of caffeine-free cola soft drink basic materials, 1.2-1.6 kg. of crystalline citric acid or an equiv. amt. of liq. citric acid, and 0.22-0.24 kg. of protein-based food sweeteners, where the water is pref. rock spring water and contains 6.85-7.15 g. of CO2/l. of water, (b) preparing of a yeast wheat beer feed by flask fermentation, using a top-fermenting yeast strain with pronounced aroma of fruit esters, higher alcohols and 4-vinyl-guaiacol, (c) placing the beer feed in a mixing tank under the satn. pressure of the feed, (d) adding the cola drink to form the cola-wheat prod., (e) filling the prod. into retail packaging and (f) post-fermenting for 8-12 days at 15-17 [deg] C. The obtd. prod is also claimed.
