Method for reducing noise in superconducting quantum interference detectors (SQUIDs) - using high frequency magnetic fields, removing flux threads, anchoring them to pinning centres
摘要

The method involves using high frequency magnetic fields which drive out the flux threads in the SQUID sensor or anchor them to latching centres to lower their number or mobility. The noise reduction system can comprise a high frequency generator as well as a related amplifier integrated into the sensor system of the sensor plus read-out electronics. It can also include a coil for coupling the high frequency field.
