The disc brake includes the cross-member (20) supported in a brake saddle so that it can slide in the axial direction and carrying two pressure pieces (31) pressing a brake pad (5) against the disc (1). To slide the girder there is an eccentric device (40,50) in the saddle whose bearing axis is transverse to the axis of the brake disc and the longitudinal axis of the girder. It has two parallel eccentric cams of which just one is coupled to a driver. The two cams are effectively in the centre between the two pressure pieces and they both have the same eccentricity. The driven cam has a larger diameter than the other one.
