The wall lining includes at least one sheet (2) of ferrite material (3). The side of the sheet of ferrite material which faces the wall is coated with a resistive material (4). In one embodiment the resistive material is carbon. In another embodiment the resistive material is iron filings. The side of the sheet facing the incident electromagnetic waves is flat. Alternatively the side of the sheet facing the incident electromagnetic waves is structured. In another embodiment the sheet is made of ferrite layers with different material columns.
