<p>The wire remover takes the wire from bales (16) on conveyor rollers (2). It has a winding shaft (19) able to move towards the bale, and a cutting shaft (18) parallel to it. The cutting shaft has a catching blade (28) to dig into the bale and to engage in a slot (30) in the winding shaft. The cutting shaft also carries a cutting beam (32) acting with a knife beam (34). When the windings (29) have been cut, they can be wound on the winding shaft.</p>
