PURPOSE: To manufacture an elastomer toothed belt for preventing the peeling- off of polyurethane from a core wire, avoiding the local compression deformation on belt channel bottom faces and stabilizing the PLD of the belt to improve the meshing with pulleys. CONSTITUTION: A toothed belt is composed of an elastomer material in which tooth sections 2 and channel sections 3 are formed alternately along the belt length direction, a core wire 5 is embedded in a back section 4 and notches 12 as recesses are formed on the channel sections 3, and the channel sections 3 are provided with flat belt channel bottom faces 11 in parallel with the core wire and the notches 12 are formed on the channel bottom faces 11, and at least the vicinity of top sections 13 of the notches reaching the core wire 5 is formed into the arc shape. |
