<p>PURPOSE: To form an antireflecting film having excellent adhesion property and durability on an optical glass element produced by press forming a glass material. CONSTITUTION: An optical element is produced by forming an antireflection film on an optical glass element which is produced by press forming a glass material. In this production method, before the antireflection film is formed, the optical glass element is cleaned with an acid or alkali soln. By cleaning the element with an acid or alkali soln. as the pretreatment process before an antireflection film is formed, an antireflection film having excellent adhesion property and durability can be formed on the optical glass element. Therefore, defects in a lens can be decreased, the cost can be reduced and the durability can be largely increased.</p> |
