<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently suck and remove a dye discharged by sublimation in a recording apparatus subliming and removing the sublimable dye on the surface of a recording medium by the irradiation with laser beam. SOLUTION: A lens cover 12 is attached to the leading end of a recording head 3 irradiating the recording medium 1 held to the surface of a rotary drum 2 with laser beam so as to surround the laser beam passage going toward the rotary drum 2 from an object lens 4 and a suction passage 15 extending toward the downstream area in the rotary direction of the rotary drum 2 is formed to the lens cover 12 and connected to a suction blower through a nozzle tank 18 and a suction hose 20 to suck and remove a dye discharged by the irradiation with laser beam. The suction passage 15 is arranged so as to be shifted on the rear side in the sub-scanning direction by a recording head 2 with respect to the center of the object lens 4 and a part where the dye probably remains in the front space 14 of the object lens 4 is preferentially sucked.</p> |
