PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer sheet excellent in the antistatic effect of its rear surface layer, capable of markedly reducing the damage to a thermal head and good in sticking resistance. SOLUTION: In a thermal transfer sheet wherein a recording layer 3 is provided on one surface of a base material 1 and a rear surface layer 2 is provided on the other surface thereof, the rear surface layer 2 consists of a binder resin and a filler and the surface resistivity thereof is 10<11> Ω/cm<2> or less. |
