PURPOSE: To enable instantaneous heat treatment of a retort food by dehydration reaction heat by only putting the food into water in a container without requiring a combustion instrument. CONSTITUTION: A heating element 5 housing a heating agent 4 generating heat by hydration reaction in a bag body 3 made of a water-permeable material is disposed in the proper place of the surface of a packaging body 1 in which a retort food is built and the heating element 5 is coated with a cover sheet 6 made of a waterproof material.
