PURPOSE: To contribute to laborsaving and enable an increase in the unit quantity of winding, with the coil of a specified unit quantity of polyurethane elastic thread as one coil, by dissolving the weak point in thread tying by manual work, and making the size of the knot part small, and besides, making it simple and sure one, and saving the time required for replacement of a coil, and the tying work. CONSTITUTION: This is one which heats and joins terminals yarns Y1 and Y2 with each other by setting the terminal thread Y1 and Y2 to be joined of polyurethane elastic thread in order in one longitudinal groove 11 provided at a lower heating part 4, and bringing an upper heating part and a lower heating part into contact with each other under pressurization for 3-90sec. at such a temperature that the heat treatment temperature T deg.C of the upper heating part and the lower heating part is T0 -80<=T<=T0 -20, to the sticking temperature T0 deg.C of polyurethane elastic thread Y. And, the device for its purpose makes the ratio of the sectional area Smm<2> of one longitudinal groove 11 provided in longitudinal direction at the center of the lower heating part 4 wherein two lines of polyurethane elastic thread are set in order to the total sectional area S0 mm<2> excluding the amount of oil agent sticking percentage of the set polyurethane elastic thread 0.5<=S/S0 <=2.0. |
