PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate a trouble in consciousness of a patient through a asynchronous or synchronous condition of EEG of the patient by stimulating cranial nerves with the application of electric pulse waveform to an electrode, demodulating the electric activeness of the cranial nerves so as to awake the patient from his conditions fell into coma through adjustment of electric parameters. SOLUTION: A voltage regulator 13 of stimulation generator 10 suitable for a nerve stimulator burried in the body of a patient outputs a voltage to each electric part, especially an arithmetic control unit 15 having a programmable function. The unit 15 controls an output unit 19 to output an output pulse signal. This signal has a specified electric parameter programmed for treating a patient fell into a coma by a doctor. An electrode is arranged in the vicinity of a specified cranial nerve for electrically stimulating the patient fell into a coma. An output pulse signal is applied to the electrode to stimulate the cranial nerve and the electric parameter of pulse signal is adjusted to demodulate the electric activeness of cranial nerves so as to awake the patient from the coma condition.
