PURPOSE: To secure a space and improve the maintenance workability by integrally fitting an oil cooler or an oil filter. CONSTITUTION: The first flange F fitting a thermostat housing 4 to an engine main body 3 and the second flange G fitting an oil cooler 6 or an oil filter 8 are formed to cross each other. Oil passagesβ",γ" feeding or extracting oil to the oil cooler 6 or from the oil filter 8 are opened on the first flange face F and the second flange G, and the cooling water temperature-adjusted by a thermostat flows out.
