PURPOSE: To shorten the time from the input of printing designation to the completion of printing by utilizing the input waiting time of key input to form the printing data of a document. CONSTITUTION: A CPU 1 detects the presence of the key input from a keyboard 5 almost periodically and the first printing data forming processing by a printing data forming part 7 is started at each time when the absence of key input is detected to execute the processing forming the printing data of the document in a document memory part 3 to be edited by a document editing part 2 within a range not exceeding a definite time. When the presence of key input is detected and there is the key input of a (printing) key 51, the CPU 1 starts the second printing data start processing by the printing data forming part 7 through a printing control part 6 and, if the formation of all of printing data is completed, all of remaining printing data are formed and, thereafter, the printing data of the printing data memory part 9 are printed by a printer 10. |
