PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the fastening and loosening of a boot to and from a base plate by providing an ankle strap attached at its lower end to a high back and a lock means for releasably locking a tilt rearward of the high back. SOLUTION: A boot 1 for a snow board is located at a normal sliding position when a high back 2 is forward bent. When a lever 14 is depressed downward, a wire 12 slacks so that the high back 2 can be rearward inclined. With this arrangement, the boot 1 can be easily loosened from the base plate 14 in order to take a walking position without disengaging the ratchet belt 8 of an ankle strap 4 from a ratchet pawl 9. Further, only when the high back 2 is inclined forward and the lever is pushed upward, the boot 1 can be fastened so as to take a sliding position. |
