PROCESSING METHOD OF CGTASE

Cyclodextrin glucanotransferase is prepared by using a variant(Bacillus macerans, KFCC 10789) which makes use of a cationic starch as a main carbon source. In an example, variant (Bacillus macerans) deposits much more cyclodextrin glucanotransferase than parent strain (Bacillus macerans, KCTC 3070) under the same fermentation codition. The cationic starch is made by treating an ordinary starch from corn, potato and sweet potato with 2-dimethyl aminoethyl chloride or 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl trimethyl ammonium chloride.
