<p>PURPOSE: To prevent the failure of a tank mounting part by reducing the rocking load of liquid in the tank in such a way that the upper part of the cross sectional area in the horizontal direction of the tank of a construction equipment is formed smaller than the lower part thereof so that a liquid amount in the tank remains a little bit in the upper part. CONSTITUTION: A part 11 of the upper surface of a fuel tank 10 is approximately horizontally formed, and the most of the other parts 12 thereof is slantly formed so that the surface area Sf of the oil level (a) of fuel oil 6 when a tank is fully filled with the oil can be set smaller than a tank bottom surface area Sb . When the fuel oil 16 is in such a condition that the tank is fully filled therewith or almost filled therewith even though the fuel tank 10 is inclined and vibrated when a hydraulic excavator is operated, a condition that the surface area Sf of the oil level (a) is smaller than the bottom surface area Sb can be retained so that the rocking load of the fuel oil 16 can be suppressed smaller. When the fuel oil 16 in the fuel tank 10 is reduced half or below, the mass thereof is also diminished. Therefore, harmful effect that exerts on the mounting part of the mounting seat bracket 14 of the fuel tank 10 by the rocking load hardly occurs.</p> |
