摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material produced by adding hollow porous microcapsules to a coating material and effective for suppressing the noise of a water heater e.g. by converting the vibration energy of noise generated on the surface of the coating layer into thermal energy. SOLUTION: This coating material is produced by adding hollow porous microcapsules to a coating material. The microcapsule is preferably composed of a porous filler containing at least one of alkaline earth metal salt such as calcium carbonate or metal oxide such as silica and alumina from the viewpoint of high heat resistance. The coating material to be used as the base material is preferably a fluororesin-containing coating material containing tetrafluoroethylene resin as the fluororesin to exhibit stain-proofness and effectively reduce the boiling noise. The fluororesin content in the coating material is preferably <=80wt.% to give a coating material having high adhesiveness to the substrate. The amount of the microcapsule to be added to the coating material is preferably 3-50wt.% based on the solid content of the fluororesin to effectively suppress the boiling noise while keeping the properties of the original coating material.</p>
