PURPOSE: To provide a thermal recording material excellent in color forming sensitivity and enhanced in the storage stability of an undeveloped part and a developed color image by adding at least one of a salicylic acid derivative represented by a specific formula and a metal salt thereof as an electron acceptive compd. and further adding a compd. represented by a specific formula. CONSTITUTION: At least one of a salicylic acid derivative represented by formula I and a metal salt thereof is added as an electron acceptive compd. and a carbamic ester compd. represented by formula II is further added. In the formulae I, II, X1 and X2 are a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, Y1 and Y2 are an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom, R1 is a hydrogen atom or the like, R2 is an alkyl group or the like and R3 , R4 and R5 are an alkyl group or the like and either one of R3 and R4 may be a hydrogen atom. By this constitution, a thermal recording material excellent in color forming sensitivity and enhanced in the storage stability of an undeveloped part and a developed color image is obtained. |
