PURPOSE: To improve the assembly rigidity of a main drive gear to provide versatility to the combination between a transmission and an engine or a clutch. CONSTITUTION: The extension of the tip of a main drive gear, extending into a clutch housing 11, is limited to a position unreached to a fly wheel 9, and a second bearing 4, for supporting the main drive gear, and an oil seal 5 are provided on the tip part of a bearing cap 2, extending forward from a transmission case 25 by the outer side of the main drive gear.
