摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a cutting tool made of a CBN group sintered material which provides excellent wear resistance in high-speed cutting. CONSTITUTION: A cutting tool made of a CBN group sintered material is made of a CBN group sintered material which has a composition in which one kind of TiC, TiN, and TiCN or more of 25 to 45%, TiB2 of 5 to 10%, AlN of 3 to 7%, and AlB2 of 1 to 5% are container in capacity % and the remaining amount consists of CBN and obligatory impurities and shows a structure in which CBN particles having unequal particle diameter exist in mixture and CBN particles of 80 area % or more at a ratio that they occupy in CBN particles are mutually connected according to the observation of the structure by means of a scanning type electronic microscope.
