PORTABLE DEVICE AND ARM MOUNTING TYPE PULSE WAVE MEASURING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: To provide a portable device and an arm mounting type pulse wave measuring apparatus which enable formation of a resonance chamber while the body of the device is kept thinner and lighter and moreover enable, the generation of a large annunciation sound, and further, which prevent a sound releasing hole from being closed even when the body of the apparatus is mounted on an arm and allows the draining of water simply even when it enters into the resonance chamber. CONSTITUTION: On the back side of a timepiece case 11 of an arm mounting type pulse wave measuring apparatus, recessed parts 152 and 153 sectioned by a reinforcing rib 154 are arranged on the rear side of a first back lid 15 and covered with a second back lid 16 laminated on the rear side of the first back lid 15 to form a resonance chamber. The recessed parts 152 and 153 are formed to reach an end rim 159 of the first back lid 15 and opened as first sound releasing hole between the end rim 159 of the first back lid 15 and the end rim 169 of the second back lid 16.
