PURPOSE: To provide an escape exit device for allowing a human to escape therefrom only in case of emergency. CONSTITUTION: This escape exit device for a building whose escape exit is formed by breaking through a board 2a of low strength is so constituted that normally the board 2a part is reinforced by a reinforcement 7 and, in emergency, the reinforcement 7 is removed from the board 2a part so as to make the board 2a part as the escape exit.
