PURPOSE: To obtain a fluorocopolymer excellent in clarity, heat resistance, mechanical properties, low water and moisture absorption properties, and water repellency. CONSTITUTION: This fluorocopolymer is obtd. by copolymerizingα-methylene-γ- butyrolactone and a fluorinated vinyl monomer represented by the formula (wherein R1 is H, F, or methyl; and R2 is a 1-12C fluoroalkyl).
