摘要 PURPOSE: To provide a shaft connecting mechanism that can align the shaft center with high accuracy. CONSTITUTION: A protruding part 30 is formed at a shaft part 5B of a reduction pinion 5. A fit-in hole 31 for fitting the protruding part 30 is formed at a recessed part 22 of a second flange 19A, and an elastic member 27 having a nut insert cylinder part 32 for inserting a nut 16 through is mounted in the recessed part 22. Since the protruding part 30 is directly fitted into the fit-in hole 31 without interposing another member, the shaft center between the shaft part 5B of the reduction pinion 5 and the second flange 18A can be aligned with high accuracy. The nut insert cylinder part 32 is supported by the recessed part 22 to energize the nut 16 so as to prevent the nut 16 from becoming loose. Since the nut insert cylinder part 32 is disposed on the outer peripheral side of the nut 16, the looseness prevention of the nut 16 is attained without enlarging the axial shape. The whole mechanism can therefore be downsized while maintaining the locking of the nut 16.
