PURPOSE: To ensure positively an air circulation path for breathing, and prevent suffocation by forming a first groove at the outside surface of a small-diameter part for defining a pen tip housing chamber, and forming a second groove at the outside surface of a large-diameter part defining a pen tip insertion opening, and also forming a peripheral air reservoir recess between the first groove and the second groove. CONSTITUTION: A small-diameter part 5 and a large-diameter part 6 are made on the outside surface 4 of a cap A, and a pen tip housing chamber 2 is situated at the place corresponding to the small-diameter part 5 of an inner hole 1. A plurality of a first grooves 10 and second grooves 11 are formed respectively in the small-diameter part 5 and the large-diameter part 6 in their longitudinal direction. The large-diameter part 6 has a skirt part 12 extending over the first grooves 10 of the small-diameter part 5. Thus, a peripheral air reservoir recess 13 is defined between the first grooves 10 and the second grooves 11. Accordingly, when a child takes the cap by mistake, the whole grooves can effectively be ensured as a breathing air circulation path with the result that suffocation can be prevented. |
