PURPOSE: To realize a film having high impact strength and favorable formability by a method wherein a composite film consists of a heat sealing layer as the innermost layer, the outermost layer made of an amorphous polyester resin layer and a specified barrier layer as the intermediate layer under the condition that the amorphous polyester resin as the outermost layer has the thickness of a specified value and the intrinsic viscosity of the range of a specific value. CONSTITUTION: This composite film for forming is produced by arranging a heat sealing resin layer as the innermost layer, a barrier layer as the intermediate layer and an amorphous polyester layer as the outermost layer. The barrier layer as the intermediate layer is made of a saponified ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer layer or consists of a polyamide resin layer having the thickness of 1-20μm and a saponified ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer layer. The amorphous polyester resin used as the outermost layer has the thickness of 200-500μm and the intrinsic viscosity of 0.67-0.80. If the intrinsic viscosity is below 0.67, no improvement of low-temperature impact strength results and, if above 0.80, inferior punching properties. |
