PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain colored flame-retardant nonwoven fabric of polyester fiber excellent in flame-proofness, dimensional stability and crockfastness, slightly evolving a harmful gas. SOLUTION: Nonwoven fabric of a polyester fiber which is obtained by dispersing and mixing a flame-retardant fiber containing 0.3-1.5wt.% of phosphorus element and a thermally bondable fiber composed of a polyester as a thermally bondable component and is integrated by fusion of the thermally bondable component is provided with a colorant composition comprising a colorant composed of a pigment or a dye, a phosphorus-based flame-retardant and a binder composed of a polyester resin or a urethane resin to give the objective colored flame-retardant nonwoven fabric of a polyester fiber.
