摘要 PURPOSE: To enable the discharge ink amount to be reduced and to stabilize the discharge capable of shortening the operating time of a pump by providing a means for simultaneously pressurizing ink from at least two ink channels for communicating an ink tank with an ink liquid chamber for communicating the tank with the discharge port of a recording head. CONSTITUTION: If the channel resistance from an ink bypass tube 39 to a liquid chamber through an ink recovery tube 38 is the same as that of the tube 28 of a liquid chamber side 45 from the connecting part with the tube 38 when the thickened ink or bubble in a liquid passage 47 communicating from a common liquid chamber 45 to discharge ports is removed, the ink amount introduced from the tube 28 becomes the same as that introduced from the tube 38 to the chamber 45 via the tube 39. Since the ink is pressurized and introduced by the same pressure from both the ends of the chamber 45 in this state, the ink pressures in the chamber 45 and the passage 47 communicating with the discharge become equivalent, the inks of the same amounts are discharged from the channels of the discharge ports, and the thickened ink or bubble is urged out of the nozzle. This is conducted at the time of turning ON a power source.
