PURPOSE: To reduce the load of document preparation by clearly showing the explanation of a figure or a table and the correspondence with quotation between the area of the figure or table and a text for a document preparing person and supporting the document preparation. CONSTITUTION: A mixed document file 1 for storing document data is composed of area data 5 for storing the various kinds of document information of the entire file, allocation information 3, text data 4 and area data 5 such as graphic information like maps, image information such as photographs and numerical information. This file 1 is read by a file access means 6 and with this file as paper 11, a printed image composed of area data 8 including an identifier 9, keyword 10, text 12 and page number 13 is extended in a print image extending memory 7 by an extending means 14. At such a time, concerning the table of correspondence between the identifiers of plural pieces of area data and the numbers of pages where those data exist, a table generating means 18 generates a correspondence table 20 in a correspondence table storage memory 19 and that table is displayed by a display means 21. |
