<p>PURPOSE: To improve the accuracy of instantaneous CIR measurement at the time of burst transfer, to eliminate the delay of congestion detection and to reduce by load on a processor. CONSTITUTION: CIR monitoring time is varied with the throughput rising rate of a subscriber line and instantaneous CIR monitoring is executed. Thus, CIR monitoring with high reliability can be executed even at the time of the burst transfer of data in a frame relay exchange A. Consequently, the load on the processor is reduced since congestion can be detected earlier than a conventional case.</p> |
