FIELD: coke industry. SUBSTANCE: coke oven includes coke chamber, heating partitions, a covering made of Dinas and chamotte refractory material, reinforcing members, sliding seal, and expansion gaps. Distinguishing feature of the oven is that total value of expansion gaps constitutes 0.4-1.0% of axial distance between ovens, and ratio of Dinas bed height to chamotte bed height is not more than 0.7%, ratio of Dinas bed height to total oven height being 0.065-0.1%. EFFECT: provided strength, monolithness, and gasproofness of oven on the whole. |
