PURPOSE: To avoid the increase in required receiving electric energy in association with the temperature rise of a fuel cell body at starting, and enhance the system efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A heating coil 4 connected to the steam supplying pipe 6 of an external steam generating device 5 is provided in a steam separator 2. At starting, steam is passed to heat the cooling water of the steam separator 2, which is then sent to a fuel cell body 1 by a cooling water circulating pump 3 to heat the fuel cell body 1 to a prescribed temperature. |
