PURPOSE: To detect abnormality of an object of crime prevention at a distance from a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: The crime prevention system consists of the transmission equipment 4 installed in an automobile 2 and a terminal device 5 which receives an alarm signal sent out by this transmission equipment 4 through a communication network 3. When an illegal actor turns on the ignition key of the automobile 2, a sensor 6 outputs an abnormal state detection signal. The transmission equipment 4 sends the alarm signal to the communication network 3 according to the abnormal state detection signal. A pager 5 at a distance from the automobile 2 receives the alarm signal through the communication network 3. Consequently, the user who bears this pager 5 can detects the abnormality occurring to the automobile 2. |
