<p>PURPOSE: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing low temperature fine particles capable of improving the cooling efficiency, reducing in size the apparatus and decreasing the using amount of refrigerant. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing ice particles 17 by crystallizing steam 12 comprises the steps of feeding cooled fluidized gas 14 from below cooled many metallic particles 16 to fluidize the particles 16, then supplying the steam 12 into the flow of the particles 16 of the fluidized state to raise it in the flow, and crystallizing the steam 12 on the surfaces of the particles 16 upon raising. Then, the method further comprises the steps of releasing the crystallized steam 12 from the surfaces of the particles 16 by the impact of the collision of the particles 16, sucking the ice particles 17 obtained by the releasing from above to remove them from the flow, and falling the particles 16 by their own weight to be again fluidized.</p> |
