PURPOSE: To provide a navigation device and a route re-searching method by which a second route for smoother return to the original route can be quickly found in the case of deviation from the route. CONSTITUTION: When a command for re-search is given from a re-search commanding means 21, a new start point is found by a new start point deciding means 22. The angle of reflection and angle of approach in a node selected by a node selecting means 23 are found individually by an angle of reflection computing means 24 and an angle of approach computing means 25, and on the basis of these results, a single node is selected by a return point deciding means 26, and then, the node is determined as return point. The second route connecting the new start point to the return point is found by the second route deciding means 27. |
