<p>PURPOSE: To provide a new modular cable housing device where portability can be improved and generation of noise can be extremely avoided corresponding to a multiple-conductor cable by directly connecting the modular cable to the body of a communication equipment. CONSTITUTION: By picking and pulling out a plug 4 of a modular cable 3 housed in a modem cabinet, the modular cable 3 wound in U shape around a cable housing lever pin 9 travels to a cable leading port side. A pull-out force is applied to the cable housing lever pin 9 due to the travel to slide the lever pin 9 in that direction, thus externally pulling out the modular cable 3. When housing the modular cable 3 which is externally pulled out, an operation lever provided at the cable housing lever pin 9 is picked and slides in the opposite direction to the pull-out direction, thus causing the modular cable 3 from retreating into the modem cabinet.</p> |
