FIELD: waste water purification. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biological purification of waste water and can be used as a charge for biofilters and other waste disposal means. Task of invention is to prepare biological charge with highly efficient use of surface area, the surface possessing higher hydrodynamic conditions of waste water movement which would exclude soiling of charge. The task is solved when each ring composing a circular assembly is provided with partitions separating its hollow into several compartments all along the ring length, and side faces of rings are inward concave. Diameter of each ring is chosen in dependence on biochemical oxygen demand for nonpurified water according to following relationship: D = KL, where D is ring diameter, L aforementioned demand, and K coefficient with numerical value 0.02. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of filter charge. |
