PURPOSE: To allow a wasteful musical tone waveform calculation not to be executed. CONSTITUTION: In the waveform data in one pronunciation, since higher harmonics are much included in the attack part, many waveform samples are generated through calculation before a time t2 by making a calculation cycle short. Then, in the part including the duaration part from the time t2 till a time t4, the number of waveform samples to be generated through calculation is made to be a half by making the calculation cycle a half. Moreover, in the part after a time t4 in which the higher harmonics are almost attenuated, the number of waveform samples to be generated through calculation is made to be a quarter by making the calculation cycle a quarter. |
