DEBURRING METHOD OF BONDED MAGNET AND DEBURRING BARREL BALL

PURPOSE: To dispense with an adhering powder removing process after a bonded magnet is deburred by a method wherein the bonded magnets are put into a stirring case together with soft magnetic material balls coated with resin film and stirred. CONSTITUTION: A ring-shaped neodymium bonded magnet is prepared. Furthermore, soft magnetic material balls of Fe-Co are provided. The soft magnetic balls are coated with Teflon for the formation of barrel balls, 20kg or so of barrel balls for every 50 or so of neodymium bonded magnets are introduced together into a barrel polishing machine and stirred for barrel polishing. Magnetic powder attached to the bonded magnets can be much reduced after barrel polishing. By this setup, an adhering powder removing process usually carried out after a bonded magnet is deburred can be dispensed with.
