PURPOSE: To provide a stereoscopic picture device which forcibly prohibits the display of a stereoscopic picture with simple constitution. CONSTITUTION: An input video signal, after being converted to an ordinary intermediate frequency video signal by a tuner 1, is amplified by a video intermediate amplifier circuit 4, and detected by a video detection circuit 5, and inputted to a stereoscopic picture circuit 13, and converted to a stereoscopic picture signal in which video signals for right eye and left eye are switched alternately at every field, and either the stereoscopic picture signal or an ordinary video signal is selected, and displayed on a CRT 8 via a video amplifier circuit 6. While, a shutter switching synchronizing signal is outputted from a channel selection circuit 3 to a shutter switching signal transmission circuit 14, and the liquid crystal shutter of spetacles is switched synchronizing with the switching of the video signals for right eye and left eye. When a 3D-Child lock is selected from a remote controller 2, a prohibition signal is supplied to a switch 16 by a power source selection means 3b in the channel selection circuit 3, and a contact is switched to side (a), then, the ordinary video signal is supplied to the CRT 8. |
