PURPOSE: To define the connection targets of the one side ends of small section equipment groups which are among small section equipment groups of which transmission equipment related to a previously defined standard transmission line model is composed and whose other side ends only are connected to branch point equipment groups and connect at least one standard transmission line to the one side end of each one of those small section equipment groups. CONSTITUTION: A standard transmission line model is defined by a model defining means. A model connecting means defines the connection targets of the one side ends of small section equipment groups SW11, SW16, and SW21-SW25 which are among small section equipment groups SW11-SW16 and SW21-SW25 of which transmission equipment 211 related to the defined stadard transmission line model is composed and whose other side ends only are connected to branch point equipment groups SW01-SW05. At least one standard transmission line model is connected to the one side end of each one of those small section equipment groups to complete the definition of a transmission line system. As a result, even if a complex transmission system having many branch points is to be defined, the composition of the transmission system can be defined easily without connection errors and, further, the receiving statuses, etc., of the respective transmission lines in the transmission line systems can be quickly referred. |
