<p>PURPOSE: To extend a power control range, to control power in response to the specification of a power conversion section and to extend the specification scope by allowing an I/F board to receive power supply from different power supply than that of a computer. CONSTITUTION: An interface board (I/F board) 2 obtains controlled power from a system independent of a power supply line 7 of a computer 1 and provides the power to a power control section 9 via a power conversion section 1 to obtain a prescribed function. Furthermore, the power control section 9, the power conversion section 10, a forced cooling section 11 are mounted on an aluminum printed circuit board (board) 12 having a heat radiation effect and the board 12 is mounted on the I/F board 2 to attain an object function. Thus, the object function and power specification are made complete on this board. Moreover, each function section is integrated, resulting that each function section is controlled directly by the computer and then the system can be adapted for more sophisticated system configuration, sophisticated system control is attained and the reliability is enhanced.</p> |
