摘要 FIELD: hydroelectric power engineering; conversion of energy of sea waves and river currents into electric current. SUBSTANCE: power plant has tower with beam that has mounting box and coupling for connecting energy converter shaft with power take-off shaft of driven mechanism made in the form of telescopic shaft mounted in bearings and provided with longitudinal slots and inner central bore to receive power take-off shaft Wave (current) energy converter is flat floating waterwheel with eight longitudinal ribbon-like cuts both on tip and in bottom planes of wheel that form cells at the same time ensuring water tightness of waterwheel; placed in these cells is thick edge of turning blades attached by means of pins and clips to top and bottom surfaces of waterwheel. Turning blades are interchangeable and have filler and drain plugs for ballast. Ballast weight (water) is introduced only attached to top flats of waterwheel when it is in horizontal position which provides for their setting in upward vertical position in absence of counter-current. In case of current flow or waves on water on water, four turning blades are held vertically and take energy of moving current; this energy is transferred via thrust plate to waterwheel which is set in rotary motion; four other turning blades meeting the current by their convex part are placed on water-wheel top surface providing for flow around it. Turning blades of bottom surface of floating waterwheel are not filled with water and they occupy downward vertical position by gravity. When currents appear, blades on top surface of waterwheel start operating in same manner as top ones and impart rotary motion to water-wheel and, hence, to electric current generator. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities.
