FIELD: gas turbine engineering. SUBSTANCE: gas is supplied to the inlet of a turbine from a gas generator. Air from a compressor enters the flowing portion of the turbine through air ducts and blades thus cooling them. As the gas supplied to the turbine contains combustible components and its temperature exceeds an ignition temperature of the components mixing the gas with air supplied results in burning of the combustible components and rising the gas temperature. By adjusting distribution of the air supply one can provide isothermal expansion of the gas in the turbine. EFFECT: simplified method.
