PURPOSE: To provide a traffic means display device which properly indicates a traffic means from a current place to a destination and is equipped with a guide function for the current place and destination. CONSTITUTION: The traffic means display device 1 consists of a main body 2 and an external storage medium 3 which stores image information including station-periphery maps and a line guide chart and character information. The main body 2 is provided internally with an arithmetic processing means 5 which performs various arithmetic processes, a read means 9 which reads information out of the external storage medium 3, etc., and is equipped with an input/output screen 6 where specific information is inputted and outputted. When the image information corresponding to a destination inputted on the input/output screen is read out of the external storage medium 3 by the read means 9, current place information and destination information are put together with the information, so that the station-periphery map and line guide chart where the current place and destination are specified can be displayed.
