IMAGE INPUT METHOD AND APPARATUS AND ATTACHING POSITION INSPECTING APPARATUS USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: To precisely inspect relative positions of respective objects by respectively taking in image data of the respective objects such as leads. CONSTITUTION: A light including a first wavelength (green color) having a high reflectance to a LCD lead 1 and a second wavelength (blue color) having a low reflectance are projected coaxially and vertically to the LCD lead 1 and a TCP lead 2 and at the same time, besides these rays, a light of a third wavelength (red color) is projected slantingly and reflected lights from the LCD lead 1 and the TCP lead 2 are separated into lights with respective wavelengths and sent as respective image data. Of the image data, difference image data of the first and the second image data is calculated and the difference image data and the image data by the light with the third wavelength (red color) are scanned respectively and the positions of the TCP lead 2 and LCD lead 1 are detected and their relative positions are detected.
