PURPOSE: To improve power saving efficiency and ease of use by turning off power when an arbitrary time has passed after use, due to abnormality in an apparatus or according to an interruption command from an external apparatus. CONSTITUTION: Information input is processed in accordance with a specified procedure using a control means 21 composed of a microcomputer. The control means 21 also controls a main power supply switch means 1 that controls a main power supply switch means 4 for controlling the turning on/off of power supplied to an electronic apparatus, and thereby interrupts the supply of power. |
